Thobile Dube-Mothapa currently serves as the Strategy Lead for the Office of the Chief Marketing Officer at Absa Group, a position held since November 2023. Prior to this role, Thobile held various strategic positions, including Senior Strategy Manager at The Coca-Cola Company from May 2021 to January 2024, and Senior Operations Manager at Uber from May 2019 to April 2021. Thobile's career began at Bain & Company, where experiences ranged from Senior Associate Consultant to Associate Consultant from January 2016 to April 2019, as well as an internship in mid-2015. Earlier roles include serving as a Teaching Assistant at the University of Cape Town from April 2014 to December 2015 and participating in vacation student programs at Illovo Sugar Ltd in 2012. Thobile holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Science degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Cape Town, completed in 2015 and 2013 respectively.
