Sarah Norris has extensive experience in the fields of ESG investment and international development. Currently serving as Head of ESG- Equities and previously holding positions as Investment Director and Investment Manager at abrdn since September 2011, Sarah has a strong background in responsible investment practices. Prior to this role, Sarah was an International Representative for Impact Sudan from 2011 to March 2020, focusing on fundraising and project management for educational and community initiatives in South Sudan. Earlier, Sarah contributed as a Coordinator for Referendum Ready, facilitating dialogues with political leaders and advocating for support during the Sudanese Referendum. Sarah Norris also gained research experience as a Peace and Conflict Studies Research Intern at St. Andrews University Centre. Educational qualifications include an MA in International Relations and an MLitt in Peace and Conflict Studies from the University of St Andrews, as well as a BA in English and International Relations from the University of Virginia.
