Emily Vizzo is an accomplished professional in the fields of writing, journalism, and communication, currently serving as Editorial and Communications Lead at Whetstone Media since May 2021. With a significant academic background, Emily has been a Professor of Writing at the University of Denver since August 2017 and an Instructor of Digital Journalism at the University of California San Diego since July 2015. Previous roles include Marketing and Communications Consultant at Eliassen Group and Social Media Editor at the University of Southern California. Additional experience includes instructing writing at Johns Hopkins Center For Talented Youth and serving as Artist in Residence (Writer) at the National Center for Ecological Analysis and Synthesis.
