Sharon Samples is an experienced art educator currently serving as an Art Teacher for Montgomery Alabama Public Schools since September 2018 and at Abrakadoodle, Inc. since June 2021, where involvement includes leading elementary art enrichment classes. Sharon also contributed as an Art Instructor for the Alabama Prison Arts + Education Project at Auburn University from June 2022 to July 2023, and served as an Artist Mentor for the Foundation for the Art and Science of Learning in 2022. Prior experience includes roles as a Visiting Artist with the Alabama Alliance for Arts Education in 2019, an Art Teacher for Mobile County Public School System from 2016 to 2018, and a Proofer/Graphic Designer/Social-Media Manager at BCT Alabama from 2007 to 2016. Additional work includes an Art Instructor role for the Mobile Arts Council and an internship at Lewis Communications. Sharon holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Graphic Design and Photography from the University of South Alabama and furthered education at Athens State University.
