Michael English started their work experience in 1998 at The Response Center as an Intranet Programmer/Designer. Michael then worked at WebLinc as a Designer/Developer in 2000 before moving on to Torre Big and Tall as a Designer/Webmaster in 2002. In 2005, they joined A D Printing Solutions as a Design/Pre Press Director. From 2006 to 2009, they worked as a Design Mercenary at Fearless Symmetry Design Unincorporated. In 2009, they became an Interactive Designer at Tierney Communications. Michael then worked as a motion graphics/animation/design freelancer in 2012 before joining Aloysius Butler & Clark in 2013, where they held various roles including Senior Interactive Art Director and Director of Motion Graphics and Animation.

Michael English's education history includes attending the school of self-taught badassery and Google from 1995 until 2022. During this time, they pursued a degree in Sense of self-accomplishment with a focus on Animation and interactive art direction.
