Sally ElAkkad has extensive experience in marketing and e-commerce across multiple sectors, having held strategic leadership roles in prominent companies. From September 2019 to March 2023, Sally served as Marketing Director and Head of E-Commerce at Electrolux, contributing to the marketing direction and strategy for brands like Zanussi and Olympic Electric. Prior to Electrolux, Sally was with GSK from February 2011 to August 2019, where roles included Head of Shopper/Trade Marketing and E-commerce, and Head of Expert Marketing and Medical Detailing for North Africa and Yemen. Earlier experience includes positions at Allianz, The Janssen Pharmaceutical Companies of Johnson & Johnson, and sanofi-aventis. Sally holds an MBA in General Management from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport, a Diploma of Education from the University of Cambridge, and a degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Cairo University, graduating with honors.
