Professor Mike Holmes BSc MB ChB MSc DRCOG FRCGP is recognised for his work for delivering at-scale primary care across Yorkshire and the Humber. Professor Mike Holmes is Vice Chair of the Royal College of General Practitioners with responsibility for Membership and International work. He has been a partner at Haxby Group since 2002, a large multi-site practice caring for over 60,000 patients across York and Hull. Professor Holmes has interests in clinical leadership, addressing health inequalities and the development of a multi-professional workforce in primary care. He chairs the regional faculty of Advanced Clinical Practitioners and Physician Associates and he is an Honorary Professor in the Department of Health Sciences at the University of York.
