Ejaz Anwer has worked in a variety of roles in the tech industry since 2001. In 2001, they began their career as a Junior Software Engineer at Beyond Systems. Ejaz then moved to Wireframe Interactive in 2002 as a Software Engineer, where they developed a multiplayer network engine and tools for in house development. In 2004, they became a Senior Software Engineer at Lahore Stock Exchange (G) Ltd., where they developed a real-time risk management system. In 2008, they worked as a Principal Software Engineer at Strategic Systems International, managing the development and delivery of a data warehouse solution. That same year, they also worked as a Software Project Manager at InfoTech Group. In 2014, they became a Software Development Manager at CloudFlow. In 2015, they returned to InfoTech Group as Chief Technology Officer, overseeing the development of products in a cost-effective manner. In 2019, they became Chief Technology Officer at Mubasher Media. Most recently, in 2021, they became Head of Engineering Department at Abhi (YC S21), managing a cross-functional product team in the development of a cloud application product with NodeJS, ReactJs, ReactNative stack. Ejaz also designed and oversaw the implementation of end-to-end integrated systems in AWS Serverless Architecture model.

Ejaz Anwer's education history includes a Masters in Computer Science from the University of Management and Technology (UMT) which they obtained between 1999 and 2001. Ejaz also has a Bachelor in Commerce from Punjab University which they obtained between 1996 and 1998. Additionally, they have two diplomas in Computer Sciences and Computer Applications from the University of South Asia, obtained in 1997 and 1996 respectively. Ejaz also has a certification in Software Project Management from Business Beem which they obtained in May 2007.
