Abenex invests, either as a minority or majority shareholder, in companies with an enterprise value ranging from €30m to €300m and portfolio companies' revenue from €10m to €500m alongside their management teams. We have developed specific expertise to address the diverse range of challenges faced by the SMEs and mid-cap companies we support, including digital transformation, financial and operational performance measurement, international development support, and structuring of operations among others. Abenex is a responsible investor with a strong operational team supporting our portfolio companies. In 2023, to reinforce its commitment to sustainability, Abenex has become a purpose-driven company and commits to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) as a framework for its decarbonation strategy.

Abenex’s approach to real estate investing: By incorporating socially responsible investment criteria, Abenex REIM team transforms real estate assets by improving their environmental performance, particularly in value-add projects through the repositioning and transformation program of buildings.

The Private Equity Team at Abenex is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and investing in companies within the Health & Wellness, Safety, and Value-add services sectors. They manage the entire investment process, from deal sourcing and due diligence to transaction execution and portfolio management. The team collaborates closely with the management of portfolio companies to drive growth, enhance operational performance, and implement sustainable business practices, aligned with Abenex's commitment to the Science Based Targets initiative (SBTi) for decarbonation. They also leverage their expertise to address SME and mid-cap company challenges, including digital transformation and international expansion.
