Nicholas Hyatt is an experienced technology executive currently serving as the VP of Engineering at ABBYY since October 2024. Previously, Nicholas held the same title at OutSystems from October 2022 to October 2024, where leadership included overseeing mobile development and product delivery following the acquisition of Ionic. At Ionic, from May 2016 to October 2022, Nicholas played a crucial role in transforming the company through high growth, scaling the engineering team, and driving significant revenue growth. Nicholas began as Engineering Team Lead and progressed to VP of Engineering, contributing to the development of Ionic's first commercial SaaS offering and maintaining a strong company culture. Earlier experience includes founding engineering roles at Exis Platform and work as an independent web developer at Willis Consulting, LLC. Nicholas holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
