Nothemba Linyane-Lumka currently holds the position of External Affairs Director for Sub-Sahara Africa at AbbVie since November 2024. Prior experience includes roles in Market Access and Public Affairs at Biovac from 2020 to November 2024, and Commercial Head: Africa Markets at KAHMA GROUP from April 2019 to November 2024. Nothemba also served as Head of Market Access for the English Africa Cluster at Abbott between September 2016 and March 2019, and as Market Access Manager at Novo Nordisk A/S from June 2012 to August 2016. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Biochemistry and Microbiology from the University of Port Elizabeth and completion of the Management Advancement Programme at the University of the Witwatersrand.
