Gregory Gawlak is currently a Research Associate IV at Exicure, a position held since October 2021. Prior experience includes serving as a Research Associate at Human Cell Co. from November 2018 to September 2021, and as an Associate at Gawlak Group, Inc. from November 2014 to October 2018. Gregory's extensive background also features a role as a Senior Research Technologist at The University of Chicago from March 2003 to September 2014, where contributions included engineering Phototropin1 LOV2 domain variants and studying endothelial cytoskeleton responses. Earlier positions include Research Technologist at The University of Chicago, focusing on scanning mutagenesis and P53 cell cycle studies, and two summer internships at Abbott Laboratories, where work involved mechanistic analysis of hepatitis C viral protease inhibitors and synthesis of small molecule compounds.
