Tamara McCants is a highly accomplished professional with a Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from Florida A&M University, earned between 1995 and 2001. Currently serving as Chair of The Board of Directors at Community Education Group since January 2015, Tamara also holds the position of Chair at the District of Columbia Board of Pharmacy since August 2019. In addition, Tamara is the President Elect of the National Pharmaceutical Association, Inc. since August 2022. As a Clinical Assistant Professor and Director of Residency Programs & Practice Transformation and Experiential Programs at Howard University since November 2010, Tamara has continually contributed to the education and training of pharmacy professionals.
