Laurie Mefford is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in technology and business leadership. Currently serving as Division Vice President of Business Solutions & Services at Abbott since April 2011, Laurie previously held significant roles, including Director of Global Information Services. Prior to Abbott, Laurie contributed to Whirlpool Corporation from September 2002 to April 2011, where positions included Director of Strategy & Planning and Regional CIO for Asia Pacific. Laurie's early career includes a tenure at Florsheim Group, Inc. as Director of Information Technology, along with a managerial role in IT Operations at Evans Products Company from 1978 to 1988. Laurie holds a Master of Science degree in Information Systems from Roosevelt University, completed between 2000 and 2002.
