Barinder Chhina is a seasoned engineering professional currently serving as a Staff Systems Engineer at Abbott since August 2024. With extensive experience in product development, Chhina held key roles at BioSig Technologies, Inc. as Software V&V Lead/Manager and at NovaSignal as System/Software Verification Lead. Previous positions include Software Verification Lead in Abbott's Cardiac Rhythm Management Division and similar roles at St. Jude Medical, focusing on neuro modulation and cardiac rhythm management. Chhina's educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering and Electrical and Electronics Engineering, along with a Master of Science in Electrical and Electronics Engineering, all obtained from Washington University in St. Louis. Early education was completed at Lawrence School, Lovedale.
