Mitko Vasilev is a seasoned technology executive with a diverse background in strategic consulting and innovative technology solutions. Currently serving as CTO at mitko x since 2019, Vasilev specializes in areas such as research and development, product innovation, and the commercialization of emerging technologies. In addition, Vasilev provides expertise as a Technology Advisor for ABB's Next Generation Technology program and previously held the same role at Microsoft, where contributions included the development of Azure to Edge systems architecture. Vasilev's career includes founding OA Digital, Inc. to enhance office productivity, leading the Cisco IoT Innovation Center in Germany, and managing large-scale IT and OT systems at Petrol AD. Early career experience includes software development for Digital Systems Ltd, focusing on BSD and Linux.
