Marco Cornelli has over two decades of experience at ABB, currently serving as Group VP and CIO for the Robotics and Discrete Automation Business Area, where responsibilities include developing and executing a global IS strategy and overseeing IS operations. Previous roles include Interim CIO for the Electrification Business Area, Head of Salesforce Practice, and various leadership positions in information systems across multiple divisions. Marco has successfully led major initiatives such as the Future ABB Customer Experience program and ERP Roadmap project, integrating IS strategies with business objectives. Earlier experience includes R&D management at Fontanapietro SpA and a solid academic background with a Master's degree in Mathematical Physics from Università degli Studi di Milano.
