Knut Rapp has extensive experience in engineering and project management, currently serving as Head of Section at ABB since February 2008, with previous roles including Engineering Manager, Lead Engineer, and Senior Project Engineer. Prior to ABB, Rapp worked as a Senior Engineer at Det Norske Veritas from July 2004 to February 2008 and held a research fellowship while pursuing a Dr.ing degree in Engineering Cybernetics at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) from 2000 to 2004. Rapp began the professional career as a Surveyor at Det Norske Veritas from August 1998 to August 2000.
