Michael Jablin

Senior Hardware Design Engineer at Abaco Systems

Michael Jablin has extensive work experience in the field of hardware engineering. Michael recently joined Abaco Systems, Inc. as a Senior Hardware Design Engineer in 2020. Prior to that, they worked at National Instruments for many years. At National Instruments, they held various roles, including Senior Hardware Engineer - High Speed Digital I/O, Developer/Instructor/Leader - Board Level Best Practices Class, Senior Hardware Engineer - Architectures & Technologies, Senior Hardware Engineer - RF R&D, and Hardware Engineer - GPIB R&D. During their time at National Instruments, they were involved in designing and testing digital semiconductor test modules, derivative products, digital back ends for digitizers and waveform generators, digital data paths and signal processing for IF digitizers, digital control for RF downconverters, and GPIB interfaces for various PC busses. Michael also handled sustaining issues, customer support escalations, and taught classes on circuit board design best practices. Before joining National Instruments, they worked as an Engineering Intern at the company in multiple roles.

Michael Jablin completed their education at The University of Texas at Austin, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from 1986 to 1991. Michael further pursued their studies in the same field and obtained a Master of Science degree from the same university from 1992 to 1995.
