Sharon Kirk is an experienced marketing professional with a strong background in direct response marketing and channel management. Currently serving as Vice President of Acquisition and Emerging Channels at AARP since October 2007, Sharon leads a team focused on developing strategies for various media, including Direct Mail and Digital. Prior to AARP, Sharon was the Marketing Director at AOL from January 2001 to October 2007, overseeing online and affinity marketing campaigns. Sharon also held the position of Senior Manager in Partner Marketing Operations at MCI / Worldcom from 1989 to September 2000, where responsibilities included directing marketing teams and implementing partner marketing strategies. Sharon is an alumnus of George Mason University, having completed studies from 1981 to 1987.
