Leila Farzam, Ph.D., serves as the Director of Organizational Development at AARP since April 2022. Prior to this role, Farzam was a Subject Matter Expert in Advisory Services at REI Systems from November 2020 to April 2022 and worked as an Independent Consultant specializing in Organization Development and Talent Strategy from January 2017 to November 2020. Farzam conducted research at Penn State University from August 2016 to November 2020 and served as a consultant for Connie Lawn during The White House Corps in 2015. Additional experience includes project management with Enactus at Penn State University from 2011 to 2014 and multiple head intern roles during the Teen Summer Program at The World Bank from 2012 to 2014. Farzam's leadership experience began in the U.S. Naval Sea Cadet Corps, where the individual held the position of Company Commander, Petty Officer Third Class from 2007 to 2011.
