Burt Edwards serves as the Director of Mission Capabilities at AARP since October 2011, overseeing client engagement, project delivery, technology consulting services, IT team integration, and portfolio management for both profit-driven and non-profit sectors, while being responsible for the review and approval of SOWs, scoping, and financials. Prior to AARP, Burt was the Director of Service Operations at Convio from June 2006 to October 2011, where leadership was provided to a 37-person team and the establishment of a new service-management group to enhance delivery performance. Educational achievements include pursuing a B.S. in Management at the University of Maryland, an A.S. in Electrical Engineering Technologies from Anne Arundel Community College, and an Executive Certificate in Strategy and Innovation from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
