Thomas Newlands has extensive experience in the telecommunications industry, currently serving as the General Manager of Services and Provisioning at AARNet since October 2011. Prior to this role, Thomas worked as a Network Solutions Engineer at AARNet and held the position of Senior Network Engineer at Powertel / AAPT from December 2004 to October 2011. Earlier in the career, Thomas was a Graduate Engineer at Optus from January 2002 to December 2004. Educationally, Thomas completed studies at TAFE NSW from 2002 to 2005 and attended Brisbane Water Secondary College from 1997 to 2001.
