Sian Hillier is an accomplished education and program manager with extensive experience in the field of continuing medical education, primarily at the American Academy of Ophthalmology since April 2012. Sian has successfully managed the AAO Joint Sponsorship program, ensuring compliance with key guidelines while enhancing educational offerings for physicians. Previous roles at San Francisco Association Management Services included program and client services management, where Sian developed strong relationships with organizational leaders and instituted effective continuing education programs. Earlier career experiences include PR and communications coordination at Simac Broadcast and an internship focused on urban design. Sian holds a Master’s degree in Urban Geography from Utrecht University and a Bachelor’s degree in Urban Studies and Planning and Sociology from UC San Diego.
