Scott Haber, MPA, is an experienced public health and governmental affairs professional with a strong background in advocacy and policy development. Currently serving as Director of Public Health Advocacy at the American Academy of Ophthalmology since June 2015, Scott has held various leadership roles within the organization, including Manager of Federal Affairs & Public Health and Government Affairs Representative. Prior experience includes positions at the Association of Clinical Research Organizations and Washington Health Strategies Group, focusing on public affairs and government relations. Scott's work also encompasses contributions as a Public Policy Consultant at The American Institute of Architects, where engagement with health officials and experts aimed to promote public health through design initiatives. Educational qualifications include a Master of Public Administration from American University and advanced degrees in Applied American Politics and Policy and Political Science from Florida State University.
