Ashley Horne is an experienced program manager and office manager, currently serving at the American Academy of Pediatrics in the National Center on Social Media and Youth Mental Health since January 2018. Prior to this role, Ashley held various positions at the Smithsonian Institution, including Visitor Services & Tours and Reservations Coordinator, as well as Visitor Services Intern at the National Air and Space Museum. Ashley's early career included internships and positions at the National Building Museum, The Smithsonian Associates, and Wider Opportunities for Women. Additionally, Ashley demonstrated strong leadership skills as the Director of Programs and Policy at the National Council of Women's Organizations and as Network Director with WIN (Women's Information Network). Academic qualifications include a Master of Arts in Museum Studies from The George Washington University and a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from the University of North Carolina Asheville.
