Rafal Zukowski is a software engineer currently working at AALTO HAPS, a pioneering start-up focused on ultra-long-endurance stratospheric flights for connectivity, surveillance, and monitoring. Prior to this role, Rafal contributed to Airbus Defence and Space as a software engineer, where duties included developing a software toolset for the management and operations of unmanned stratospheric solar aircraft platforms. Rafal's experience also includes an internship at Airbus, where programming skills were applied to develop performance modeling programs for High-Altitude Pseudo-Satellite/Platform Station, utilizing subsonic aerodynamics and various programming languages. Rafal holds a Master of Engineering in Aerospace, Aeronautical Engineering from Imperial College London, alongside a Professional Certificate in Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence from Imperial College Business School.
