Andreas Aakerberg is an experienced academic and industry professional with a background in machine learning and computer vision. Currently serving as an Assistant Professor at Aalborg Universitet and previously a PhD Fellow in the Milestone Research Programme, Aakerberg has also worked as a Machine Learning Researcher at Milestone Systems and a Computer Vision Consultant at iLocator GmbH. Earlier career experience includes a role as a Software Engineer specializing in Deep Learning at HSA Systems and as a Software Developer at Intel Corporation within the Mobile Communications division. Aakerberg holds a Master of Science in Vision, Graphics and Interactive Systems and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering, Communication Systems, both from Aalborg University.
