Bert Lodewijks serves as the Manager of Manufacturing Engineering and Project Manager at AAE bv since May 2018. Prior experience at TOMRA Food spanned from September 2009 to April 2018, where Bert held multiple roles including Engineering Manager, overseeing a team of 15 FTE in Eindhoven, and leading the development of a major machine line with over 100 units produced annually. As Project Manager R&D, Bert directed a multidisciplinary team of 32 FTE across Eindhoven and Leuven on a new electromechanical and hardware/software processing platform. Earlier roles included Head of Application Development and Team Leader for Optical Design, along with responsibilities as an Optical Design Engineer and Field Service Engineer, focusing on design and global implementation of optical sorting machines in the food industry. Bert's educational background includes a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Applied Physics from Eindhoven University of Technology.
