Sarah Delgado has extensive experience in nursing and advanced practice, currently serving as a Clinical Practice Specialist in strategic advocacy and practice excellence at the American Association of Critical-Care Nurses since November 2015. Prior to this role, Sarah worked as a Chronic Care Nurse Practitioner at PIH Health and served as a Nurse Practitioner at the Ryan White Clinic within UVA Health System. Additionally, Sarah held a position as an Assistant Professor of Nursing at the University of Virginia. Early in their career, Sarah gained experience as a Lung Transplant Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse at Penn Medicine. Educational credentials include a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree from UCLA, a Master’s degree in Cardiopulmonary Nursing from the University of Pennsylvania School of Nursing, and a Bachelor's degree in Nursing from the same institution. Sarah completed high school at Sidwell Friends School.
