Mary Bylone is an experienced professional in healthcare management and volunteer services, currently serving as Program Manager for the AACN Healthy Work Environment National Collaborative. Mary directs volunteer efforts at TimberKnolls Spirit Cove, utilizing Newfoundland dogs for pet therapy to support veterans and individuals facing various challenges. With a background as Owner/Breeder/Trainer at Sea Worthy Newfoundlands since 2009, Mary has also held leadership roles, including First Selectman of Colchester and President of Leaders Within, LLC, providing education on leadership and human resource management. Previous positions include Regional Vice President of Patient Care Services at Hartford HealthCare and VP of Patient Care Services & CNO at The William W. Backus Hospital, contributing to strategic planning and nursing excellence. Mary holds a Master of Science in Management from Thomas Edison State University and degrees in Nursing and Biology from Cumberland Community College and the University of Lynchburg, respectively.
