Rosaelena Valencia Villa, MSHL, BHSA, currently serves as a Surveyor at the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC) since July 2022. Previously, Rosaelena held the position of Senior Director of Quality and Stars at Doctors HealthCare Plans, Inc., overseeing the STARS Program, HEDIS, CAHPS, MTM, and Credentialing from March 2020. Prior roles include Director of Quality Improvement at SOLIS Health Plans and Director of Stars Network Performance at United Healthcare of South Florida. Rosaelena began their career as a Project Manager for Special Needs Plans at CarePlus Health Plan. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Health Law from Nova Southeastern University and a Bachelor of Arts in Health Services Administration from Florida International University. Additionally, Rosaelena is pursuing a Master's degree in Public Health from Nova Southeastern University.
