Deborah Edelman has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Deborah'smost recent role was as the Director of CMS & State Compliance at the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care (AAAHC), where they were responsible for managing operations teams, developing department workflows, and acting as a subject matter expert on standards interpretation. Prior to this, they held positions as a Manager and Senior Account Executive at AAAHC, where they led projects, conducted training sessions, and ensured contract deliverables were met. Deborah also has experience in research and data collection, having worked as a Researcher at the University of Illinois at Chicago and a Research Assistant at the University of Michigan. Deborah began their career as an Intern at the Chicago Department of Public Health.

Deborah Edelman obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Neurobiology and Behavior from Cornell University in 2006. Subsequently, they pursued a Master of Public Health (M.P.H.) degree in Environmental Health Sciences from the University of Michigan, completing their studies in 2009.
