Jose Mocito has a diverse work experience in the technology sector. Jose started their career as a Junior Researcher at LaSIGE in 2004 and worked there until 2007. After that, they joined INESC-ID as a Researcher from 2007 to 2012. During this time, they also served as a Teaching Assistant at ESTCB from 2010 to 2012. In 2012, they joined MakeWise as a Software Engineer and worked there until 2016. From 2016 onwards, they have been working at A-to-Be, where they started as a Software Engineer and progressed to the role of Senior Software Development Manager. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Development and Support for Tolling Solutions at A-to-Be.

Jose Mocito completed their education history as follows:

- From 2022 to 2023, they attended CATÓLICA-LISBON | Executive Education, where they participated in the Executive Program in Advanced Management, focusing on Business Administration and Management.

- In the years 2004 to 2006, they pursued their MSc degree in Informatics at the University of Lisbon.

- Earlier, from 2000 to 2004, they completed their BSc degree in Informatics at the same University.

Additionally, Jose Mocito obtained the Certified ScrumMaster certification from the Scrum Alliance in May 2017.
