Brendan Lim is a multifaceted engineering professional currently serving as a Pipelines Intern at ExxonMobil since March 2024. Concurrently, Brendan holds the position of chemECCO Catalyst Engineer with Monash Carbon Capture and Conversion (MC³) since January 2023, where contributions focus on the electrolytic reduction of CO2 into ethylene. Previous experience includes briefly co-managing the chemECCO subdivision, preparing team budgets, and participating in the competitive 2024 OpenAir Carbon Removal Challenge. Additionally, Brendan works as a Tutor at A Team Tuition Australia Pty Ltd and served as an Access Monash Mentor, providing guidance to underrepresented students. As a founding member of Synthetic Biology Monash (SynBioM), Brendan developed innovative bioassays targeting Melanoma. Educationally, Brendan is pursuing a Bachelor of Engineering in Chemical Engineering at Monash University, having previously earned a Bachelor's Degree in Biomedicine from the University of Melbourne.
