Tom Veldhuijzen serves as the Reinsurance Manager at a.s.r. verzekeringen since August 2024, bringing extensive experience in the insurance sector, particularly in reinsurance and operational risk management. Prior roles include Operational Risk Officer at Athora Netherlands from July 2023 to July 2024, and multiple positions at a.s.r. verzekeringen from September 2016 to June 2023, culminating as a Business Risk Management Officer focused on pensions and life insurance. Tom's career began at Rabobank Utrecht as a Financial Advisor and also included participation in the Jong Talent Programma at Reaal. Academically, Tom Veldhuijzen is pursuing a Master's degree in Executive MSc of Internal Auditing at the University of Amsterdam, having previously completed a Master's in Insurance & Risk and a Bachelor's in Financial Services Management.
