Bob Baker has a diverse work experience in various analytical and engineering roles. Bob began their career with the United States Air Force, serving as the Chief of Operations Division in the 6595th Missile Test Group from May 1984 to April 1988. Following their military service, Bob joined the Automated Sciences Group Inc as a Program Engineer from April 1988 to January 1993. In this role, they supported multiple U.S. and foreign missile defense and flight test programs as a Flight Test Safety engineer. Bob then joined APT Research in January 1993 as Chief Analyst, a position they hold currently.
Bob Baker earned a B.S. in Applied Mathematics from Auburn University from 1976 to 1980. Bob then pursued further education at the Air Force Institute of Technology-Graduate School of Engineering & Management, where they obtained a B.S. in Aeronautical Engineering from 1981 to 1983. Following this, they went on to earn an M.S. in Astronautical Engineering from the same institute from 1983 to 1984.
