Saad Abbasi, ASA, currently serves as a Financial Analyst at AM Best since August 2024. Prior to this role, Saad worked as an Actuarial Associate at Alliance Insurance P.S.C from February 2022 to July 2024 and held the position of Deputy Manager - Actuarial at IGI Life Insurance Limited from July 2018 to January 2022. In the latter role, responsibilities included supporting product development, conducting quarterly actuarial valuations, and assisting in IFRS17 gap analysis. Saad’s earlier experience includes positions such as Assistant Manager - Actuarial and Actuarial Trainee. Educational qualifications comprise a degree in Economics and Mathematics from Lahore University of Management Sciences from 2014 to 2018, along with A levels in Mathematics, Economics, Further Mathematics, and Physics from The Lyceum.
