Cynthia Huffman has extensive experience in early childhood education and advocacy, currently serving as an Early Head Start Classroom Volunteer at Marion Forsman Boushie Early Learning Center since January 2024. Previously, Cynthia held significant leadership roles, including Chair of the Board of Trustees at ACT Contemporary Theatre and Co-Founder/Co-President of Friends of OBCC Guild, supporting the Odessa Brown Children's Clinic. Cynthia served on the Board of Trustees for Seattle Children's from 2009 to July 2021 and was a Trustee at Intiman Theatre from 2007 to 2016, where Cynthia also acted as President from 2013 to 2015. Other board affiliations include Childhaven and the Barnard Center for Infant Mental Health and Development. Cynthia's professional background includes being an Early Childhood Development Consultant and Director at Bank Street Head Start. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Marketing from Northwestern University - Kellogg School of Management, a Master's in Infant/Parent Development/Early Intervention from Bank Street College of Education, and a BA in Psychology from Northwestern University.
