Susan Jones Knape

Founder at A Case for Women

Susan Jones Knape has over 30 years of experience in the marketing and advertising industry. Susan began their career in 1982 as the President of Knape & Knape, an advertising agency that was named by ADWEEK Magazine as the "Hot Shop of the SouthWest" and was acclaimed nationally for its creative and successful client campaigns. In 1992, they founded The Knape Group advertising agency, which grew to billings of $20 million and 12 staff. In 1998, they became a Consultant/Author/Speaker for Susan Knape Associates, handling turn-key marketing projects for a varied group of companies with a penchant for those focusing on services/products for women. Susan also wrote a book, published by McGraw-Hill, titled The Money Rules: 50 Ways Savvy Women Can Make More, Save More and Have More. In 2002, they became the Chief Creative Strategist for Levenson & Hill, where they were responsible for building a new creative team and developing strategy for significant new business opportunities. In 2005, they became the Chief Marketing Officer for Baron & Budd, PC, where they had bottom line responsibility for client procurement, online positioning and reputation, social media, business-to-business outreach, brand development and consistency. Finally, in 2016, they founded A Case for Women, the only women-owned and women-focused marketing organization in the legal industry.

Susan Jones Knape attended The University of Texas at Austin from 1971 to 1975, where they earned a B.S. in Plan II, Education/ French. Prior to this, they attended The Hockaday School.
