Colin O'Brien has a long history of working in the software engineering field. Colin started their career in 2003 at Boeing as an Embedded Software Engineer. In 2009, they moved to CET, LLC in the same role. In 2011, they joined Stereotaxis as a Senior Software Engineer and in 2014, they became the Director of Software Engineering at Covene LLC. Most recently, in 2021, they were appointed as the Chief Technology Officer at 9Line Software LLC.

Colin O'Brien earned their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the State University of New York College at Plattsburgh in 2003. Colin then went on to receive their Master of Science in Computer Science from Washington University in St. Louis in 2009. In 2014, they completed their Master of Engineering Management in Project Management from Washington University in St. Louis.
