Vinícius Santos de Pontes has a diverse work experience spanning several years. Vinícius began their career as a Research Intern at the Inmetro - National Institute of Metrology, Quality, and Technology in 2018, where they developed software for genome and protein fragment assembly. Vinícius then worked as a Researcher at Fiotec - Fiocruz Supporting Foundation, where they focused on virtual screening and drug repositioning against Covid-19, as well as web platform development and database management.

After that, Vinícius worked at Bluemoon Corporation as a DevOps Engineer and later as a Fullstack Developer. In these roles, they contributed to the development of internal management systems using technologies like Angular, HTML, CSS, and Node.js.

Vinícius then joined KOORT as a Front-end Developer for a brief period before moving on to DEEP ESG, where they worked as a Developer. At DEEP ESG, they developed commercial systems for measurement, control, and carbon emission reduction, utilizing technologies such as Node.js, NestJS, and PostgreSQL.

Currently, Vinícius is working at 99x as a Senior Software Engineer, where they are involved in software development using advanced technologies.

Throughout their career, Vinícius has demonstrated expertise in various programming languages and frameworks, including Node.js, Python, and C. Vinícius has also gained experience in infrastructure management using tools like Docker and Google Cloud Platform. Vinícius is familiar with agile project management methodologies and software development practices such as SOLID, Domain Driven Design, and Test Driven Development.

Vinícius Santos de Pontes began their education in 2015 at Colégio Estadual Círculo Operário, where they pursued a technical degree in Biotecnologia. Vinícius completed this program in 2018. Later, in 2018, Vinícius enrolled at Universidade Federal Rural do Rio de Janeiro to pursue a Bachelor's degree in Ciência da Computação, which is currently ongoing.

In addition to their formal education, Vinícius has obtained several certifications to enhance their skills and knowledge. In January 2022, they received a certification in Desenvolvimento SPA com Angular from desenvolvedor.io. Vinícius also obtained a DevOps Professional certification from EXIN in February 2022. In the same month, Vinícius acquired the NestJS Fundamentals certification from NestJS. Vinícius'smost recent certification is from Reflexão.Guru, where they obtained the Dive Into Refactoring certification in April 2023.
