Subramanian Peruvemba is a seasoned technology executive with extensive experience in the financial services sector. Currently serving as Senior Vice President at 6sense since September 2022, Peruvemba previously held key leadership roles at American Express as Vice President and Head of Technology for the Payment Network, overseeing the development of a transformative cloud-native card payment processing platform. Prior to that, Peruvemba was Vice President at Visa, leading efforts in both Open VisaNet and digital product development, resulting in significant innovations like Visa Checkout and the Visa Card Tokenization. With earlier experience as Vice President Engineering at PlaySpan Inc., where the technology platform was foundational for Visa's digital initiatives, and various engineering roles at companies such as Mobio Networks, MobileAria, and Oracle, Peruvemba brings a robust technical and strategic background. Peruvemba holds an MBA from the University of California, Berkeley, Haas School of Business, and a B.Tech from the Indian Institute of Technology, Madras.
