The Director of SEC Reporting and SOX will leadÌýthe SEC reporting and the SOX program. This is a highly visible role that offers the opportunity to work with various Finance functions within the Company, includingÌýAccounting,ÌýFP&A, Investor Relations, Treasury, Stock Administration, and Corporate Tax, as well as HR, Legal, and various operational functions, which will allow you to gainÌýa strong understanding of the Company’s business and operations.Ìý

The ideal candidate has strong knowledge of US GAAP and SOX 404 compliance requirements and biotech industry experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES: Ìý

• Manage the SEC financial reporting process, including theÌýpreparationÌýof theÌýCompany’s SEC filings (including Forms 10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, and various other filings), working closely with other functions as needed and ensuring accurate and timely submissions to regulatory authorities
• Prepare financial statements (including a statement of cash flows), EPS calculation, footnotes, MD&A, accounting memos, US GAAP Disclosure Checklist, and disclosure support
• Proactively researchÌýindustry reporting trends and perform benchmarking to make recommendations to improve and strengthen the Company’s SEC filings
• Manage accounting for stock-based compensation in compliance with ASC 718, including valuation assumptions and preparation of journal entry
• Coordinate with Legal, Finance, InvestorÌýRelations, and other teams with the Company to prepareÌýSEC Filings and lead Disclosure committee meetings
• ManageÌýSOX program in collaboration with the Company’sÌýthird-partyÌýservice provider, including risk assessment, design assessment, walkthroughs, documentation, testing of internal controls and ITGCs in FloQast
• Work in partnership with control ownersÌýand business leadersÌýacross the Company toÌýidentify, develop, recommend, and implement appropriate controlÌýchanges that may result from business changes,Ìýnon-routine transactions, or system implementations
• Monitor management’s remediation efforts to closure, including review of supporting evidence
• Act as the primary point of contact for internal and external auditors during the audit process, providing support and documentation as required for assigned areas
• Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the manager’s discretion
• Manage workload distribution, prioritize tasks, and ensure deadlines are met effectively.

·¡»å³Ü³¦²¹³Ù¾±´Ç²Ô:Ìý

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
• CPA

·¡³æ±è±ð°ù¾±±ð²Ô³¦±ð:Ìý

• 12 + years of relevant experience with a mix of Big 4 public accounting and aÌýcomplianceÌýrole in the biotech industry

³§°ì¾±±ô±ô²õ:Ìý

• Advanced understanding ofÌýSEC Reporting and SOX 404
• Excellent Excel spreadsheet skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office products (Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Hands-on experience with SEC filing systems such as Active Disclosure
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and trends
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across functional teams
• Strong attention to detail, decision-making, problem-solving,ÌýprojectÌýmanagement, and organizational skills
• Ability to quickly learn and utilize reporting and other management systems and tools.

Base salary compensation range $210,000 - $238,000
