Chris Metts currently serves as the Executive Director for Advanced Air Mobility at 47G, beginning in April 2024. Previously, Chris was a Partner Level Specialist Executive at Deloitte Consulting from February 2018 to March 2024, focusing on transportation and aviation modernization. Chris's extensive experience includes a vice presidency at Harris Corporation in global aviation and air traffic management, and multiple leadership roles at the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), culminating in over 31 years with the agency, including positions such as Deputy Assistant Administrator and various directorships. Chris has a strong background in international relations, having served as a Civil Aviation Attaché and as a Senior Fellow with the Maureen and Mike Mansfield Foundation, where contributions were made to Japan's air traffic control systems. Chris holds a bachelor's degree in Aeronautics from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University and has advanced training from the FAA Academy.
