Joaquin Contreras is currently the Vice President of Investment Banking at 414 Capital, where he specializes in advising international players in M&A operations and Corporate Finance in Mexico, Latam, and the US. He previously worked as an Investment Banking Associate and Analyst in a multi-industry company where he partnered with IT Development Companies to build IoT solutions for various markets, including utilities, insurance, warehouse management, public transportation monitoring systems, real-time fleet management tools, software development, and IP communications platforms. Joaquin also served as a consultant for a fuel distribution company. Prior to that, he worked as a Corporate and Investment Banking Analyst at BNP Paribas and as a Venture Capital Analyst at Angel Ventures Mexico. Joaquin obtained his Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) degree in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Anáhuac.
