Valerie Haulk is an experienced professional in donor stewardship and proposal writing, currently serving as the Senior Manager of Donor Stewardship and Proposal Writing at the National 4-H Council since March 2020. Previously, Valerie held various roles at the Columbus Zoo and Aquarium, including Campaign and Grants Officer and Grants and Stewardship Coordinator from December 2013 to March 2020. Prior experience also includes positions at OhioHealth as a Senior Communications Specialist and Communications Coordinator, and at Crawford County Humane Society as a Communications Intern. Valerie began a career in communications while studying at Allegheny College, where a Bachelor of Arts in English with a focus on Technical and Professional Writing was earned, while also engaging in various roles and internships related to writing and marketing. Leadership experience includes founding and serving as President of Animal Welfare of Allegheny.
