Maithreyi Chitta has extensive work experience in the field of quality assurance and testing. Starting in 2006 at Wipro as a Project Engineer, they were responsible for creating test strategies, providing estimations, reviewing test cases, and managing a team. Maithreyi then worked at Zensar Technologies as a Senior Test Engineer, where they continued to handle similar responsibilities and coordinated project deliverables.

In 2014, Maithreyi joined Deloitte as a Senior QA Engineer, where they worked on test strategy creation, test case reviewing, managing testing activities, and coordinating project deliverables. Maithreyi then joined Tata Consultancy Services as a Test Prime, participating in all stages of the software development life cycle and managing testing activities for onsite and offshore teams.

In 2016, Maithreyi worked as a Lead QA Analyst at Razorfish, where they developed a website using Adobe AEM technology for a leading lottery corporation. Maithreyi also established the QA process for the project. Maithreyi then joined Ceridian as a Quality Assurance Analyst, where they were involved in developing front-end solutions for a cloud-based HCM product.

Later, Maithreyi worked at Bounteous as a Senior QA Analyst and at Ceridian as a Quality Assurance Lead, where they coordinated testing activities with implementation and client teams, created documentation like test strategies and test plans, and provided test progress reports and dashboards.

Currently, they are employed at 360insights.com as a Lead Test Engineer.

Maithreyi Chitta completed a Certificate Course in Localization at the University of Washington in 2021. In 2018, they also completed a Certificate course in Data Science at the University of Toronto. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science from Osmania University from 2000 to 2003. Additionally, they have obtained various certifications such as Project Management Skills for Leaders from LinkedIn in 2023, SQL for Testers from LinkedIn in 2022, and several edX Verified Certificates related to Localization and Internationalization in 2021. Maithreyi is also a Certified Scrum Product Owner and Certified Scrum Master, both obtained in 2015 from the Scrum Alliance.
