Doug Stewart's work experience includes various roles in consulting, management, and coaching positions.

From 2015 to the present, Doug has been working as the Director of Services at 321 Gang, where they manage a team of professionals delivering adoption services for the Scaled Agile Framework and IBM continuous engineering and devops tools.

Prior to that, from 2010 to 2015, they worked as the President and Principal Consultant at Pencader Consulting, Inc., where they provided consulting, mentoring, and training services in software lifecycle modernization and IT and software development process improvement.

In 2013, Doug worked as the Director of Professional Services at Blueprint Software Systems, delivering customer enablement services for the Blueprint cloud requirements management solution.

From 2012 to 2013, they served as the Manager and Agile Coach at Web Financial Solutions, coaching clients on Agile principles and practices.

In 2010, they worked as the Director of Consulting Services at Ivar Jacobson International, where they led consulting teams in delivering process consulting services focused on software process improvement.

From 2006 to 2010, Doug was the Regional Services Manager at IBM Canada Ltd., overseeing all service delivery in Canada, the Caribbean, and Latin America for IBM's Rational software brand.

Before that, from 1994 to 2006, they held various roles at IBM Canada Ltd., including Territory Manager, Principal Consultant, and Sales Representative, delivering software consulting and training services in Rational products and Rational Unified Process.

From 1988 to 1994, Doug worked at Rational Software Corporation as a Technical Lead, providing services to customers and assisting them in the selection and adoption of Ada, object-oriented design, and Rational tools.

Prior to that, they worked at Telos Corporation from 1981 to 1988, where they held roles such as Branch Manager and Lead Engineer, delivering consulting services and managing teams in the development of software applications.

Lastly, Doug's earliest work experience was as a Noise Control Technician at Specialty Composites Corp, where they performed lab tests and implemented computer-based analysis to improve efficiency.

Throughout their career, Doug has demonstrated expertise in software engineering, project management, agile methodologies, and process improvement.

Doug Stewart has a diverse education history. Doug obtained a Certificate in Lean Six-Sigma from Villanova University in 2011. Prior to that, they pursued a Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering at the University of Delaware from 1975 to 1976, but did not complete the degree.

In addition to their formal education, Doug holds various certifications. Some notable certifications include being a Certified Rational Requirements Composer Instructor and a Certified Rational Team Concert Instructor, both obtained from IBM in 2012 and 2011 respectively. Doug is also a Certified Lean Six-Sigma professional from Villanova University in 2011. Other certifications they hold include Certified Rational ClearCase Instructor from IBM in 2010, Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance in 2015, and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) v4 Program Consultant and Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Program Consultant from Scaled Agile, Inc. in 2015. Doug also obtained certifications from IBM as a Rational AppScan Sales Professional, Rational Application Developer Technical Sales Professional, and Rational Team Concert Technical Sales Professional in 2011.
