Carolina Aguiar is a highly skilled Technical Manager at 2H Offshore, having held various positions including Principal Engineer in the SURF sector since June 2022. Prior to this, Carolina worked at McDermott International, Ltd from October 2020 to June 2022 as a Principal Riser Engineer, leading a Riser Design Team and serving as a Buoyancy Model Package Engineer. From 2017 to May 2020, Carolina was a Senior Installation Analysis Engineer and Engineering Specialist at CCA Treinamentos, focusing on data QA, structural and fatigue analysis, and the execution of design solutions in the oil industry. Carolina’s extensive experience spans multiple roles at 2H Offshore from 2009 to 2016, where responsibilities included project management and engineering tasks related to the structural integration of offshore riser systems. Additionally, Carolina conducted research on expandable casing technology at COPPE/UFRJ and holds a Master’s degree in Petroleum Engineering with a focus on Structural Behaviour from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
